Continuous learning is important for everyone. That is why at Children’s Paradise we make time for Staff Development Days twice a year to strengthen skills, build team collaboration efforts, and stay current on best practices in early childhood education. These dedicated training days give our teachers new knowledge and dedicated time to learn, grow, and reflect. Children receive all the benefits too, as teachers return with creative classroom ideas, new teaching approaches, and updated early education practices.

During Staff Development Days educators come together to explore important topics such as:

Emotional Regulation & Social-Emotional Learning: Supporting children as they identify, understand, and manage their emotions in a nurturing environment.

Health & Safety Practices: Reviewing and updating safety protocols to ensure your child’s well-being at all times.

STEAM Learning: Exploring creative ways to integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math into daily classroom experiences.

Mealtime Best Practices & CACFP Guidelines: Ensuring healthy routines and compliance with nutrition program standards.

Child Development & Data Systems: Refreshing knowledge on the tools we use to track and support each child’s growth.

Teachers return refreshed, confident, and inspired with purpose to provide the best possible care for your child.

Together, we are building a learning community where children—and educators—continue to grow.
