The Clubhouse summer day camps provide kids outrageous fun and excitement in addition to keeping them sharp with learning activities all summer long. ENTERING OUR Summertime Era
This week sets the stage for our summertime fun!!! We will learn all about our summer of fun, build new friendships, meet our new classroom “pet”, get creative and help design our own program. Our field trips will take us into the community to buy individual summer reading books; along with new games and materials for our class!!! Exciting team games will keep us moving outside!

IT’S A JUNGLE Out There
Join us on a safari trip, where we will explore the wilderness and the animals that live there! We will research animals and their habitats and flex our knowledge when we visit the Wild Animal Park. Safari crafts and building our own safari habitats will help us expand our animal knowledge…it will be a wild time!

YES Chef!
Who’s hungry??? This week the children will use their produce from the garden to create delicious recipes. We will take a trip to a local restaurant to learn the behind the scenes of a kitchen operation, and will create our own cookbook! We will engage in the science of making ice cream by taking a trip to a local ice cream shop, expand our math skills through recipe measurement, have a homemade pizza party and end the week with a Food Fair!

ENDLESS Summer
It’s a summer state of mind as we celebrate our amazing time together, and this week is all about having tons of FUN before we go back to school! A trip to a local water-play area will keep us cool, while we snack on snow cones back at school! We will end the summer with our group performance we have been working all summer on, so get ready for our final curtain call!

STEM Wizards
Jump into the summer by exploring science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This week allows the children to think cognitively to create and invent their dreams into reality! We will build Lego robotics and learn how to code our own Robot! Our field trip will take us to a trampoline park where we will learn all about gravity and physics as we jump our way to fun!

HAPPY TO Sea You!
We are diving deep into the ocean waters to learn all about the creatures that live there! The children will learn about the layers of the ocean, how we can take care of the ocean environment, and the animals that exist there. We will get up close and personal with different ocean animals when we explore the Birch Aquarium and our activities will include ocean science, seashell art and a trip to the beach!

EXPRESS Yourself
This week the children will explore different art styles, applications, and mediums. The children will tie-dye, make jewelry, work with ceramics and do Claymation! A trip to a local museum will set the stage for creativity, while a trip to an art store to pick out our own art supplies will unleash each child’s inner artist!

LIFE IS A GARDEN, Let’s Dig It!
Learn about gardening, and germination, and plant a garden of fruits and vegetables. We will encourage independence and freedom to learn about horticulture by visiting a local nursery to pick out fruits and vegetables to plant in our garden. We will visit a local farm or farmer’s market to pick up some fresh produce and will explore different recipes we can make using our summer bounty.

FEEL THE Fern!
Time to unplug and get in touch with our outdoorsy side! We will be exploring local hiking trails and nature areas, while discovering the beauty all around us. In the classroom, we will be hanging out around our classroom campfire, making solar panel ovens for smores, learning fun camp games, making kites and photographing nature.

GO FOR THE Gold
This week the children will participate in the first annual Children’s Paradise Mini Olympics! All our sites will gather at the gym to go head-to-head in competition as they test their skills through fun, cooperative games! Get ready to jump in our jumper, play some hoops, bounce the Kin Ball, reach for a Square-in-the-Sky game and even join a pie-eating competition! We will also be baking treats to celebrate the Birthday of our company’s CEO (it’s her Birthday, but the kids get the party!).
