“Screens, Genes & the Choices We Make” Raises Funds for Komen
San Diego’s Susan G. Komen San Diego announced that its “Screens, Genes & the Choices We Make” symposium held recently at the San Diego Marriott Del Mar hotel raised $210,000. The funds will support Komen San Diego’s mobile mammography coach.
Children’s Paradise Celebrates Opening of Oceanside Pre-School and Infant Center
Children’s Paradise Preschool and Infant Centers (Children’s Paradise) celebrated the opening last week, of their fourth early childhood development and infant center at 2017-A Mission Avenue, in Oceanside. The other centers are in Vista (2) and Escondido.
Children’s Paradise Honored by Global Organization
Oceanside CA— Children’s Paradise Preschool and Infant Centers (“Children’s Paradise”) has been honored with two awards from the Fathers & Families Coalition of America (FFCA). Children’s Paradise was named an FFCA Affiliate of the Year and Edward (Eddie) Baker, a Children’s Paradise employee, will receive an “Honorable Stanley Seiderman National Father of the Year Award.”

The awards will be presented March 2nd at FFCA’s 18th Annual Families & Fathers National Conference, taking place this week in Los Angeles. The awards ceremony, on Thursday, March 2, honors those who model the strengths of leadership, fatherhood, marriage and family.
