A recent study by California State University, San Marcos, confirms what Children’s Paradise parents and educators already know: early childhood education has a powerful and lasting impact—not just on children, but on families and communities as a whole.
This year alone, Children’s Paradise has:
- Served 492,000 healthy meals to children,
- Provided 16,500 food pantry items to families in need,
- Hosted 83 parent engagement activities,
- Made over 2,500 referrals to local support agencies, and
- 654 local early education jobs created!
In addition, 52 children have been supported through Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring every learner gets the support they need to thrive.
The impact of these services goes beyond individual families. In fact, Children’s Paradise contributes an impressive $63 million to the economy. This economic footprint underscores the broader value of investing in early education and family support. It’s not just an expense—it’s a return that benefits our entire community.
Children’s Paradise’s approach is rooted in a commitment to holistic education—offering high-quality learning experiences, nutritious meals, and expert-led support services in inclusive, multicultural classrooms. This comprehensive support helps break cycles of poverty, increases high school graduation rates, and improves long-term economic outcomes for families.
By investing in early education, Children’s Paradise helps parents, especially mothers, return to the workforce, and opens doors to higher education and better career opportunities for future generations.
This is more than just early learning—it’s the foundation for a legacy of opportunity, equity, and community growth.
